Who we are

Presso is made by Bryan Temple, Lagos, Nigeria. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit presso's website or use the Presso app.

We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and we give everyone the rights described below wherever they live.

What we collect

Your account: your name, email address, phone number, the laundry you run, and your role in it.

What your laundry enters: orders, prices, customers, riders and messages. This belongs to your laundry; we process it for you (see the data processing terms).

Payments: we record that a payment was made and its amount. Card details go to Paystack and never reach Presso.

Technical data: basic logs such as your IP address and browser, used to keep the service secure and working.

Cookies

We use only the cookies Presso needs: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your language, and one to remember your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share data with

Only the providers that run Presso for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Paystack (payments) and Resend (email). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 allows for such transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. If your trial ends or you stop paying, your laundry is paused, not deleted, so you can return.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and your laundry's records, except what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to export it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Children

Presso is a business tool for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
